Taiyuan University of Technology (henceforth, TYUT) is located in downtown Taiyuan and has a history of 114 years tracing back to 1902. It is the only university in Shanxi Province nominated by Chinese Ministry of Education as one of the top 100 universities in the 21st century in China, i.e. “Project 211”. Taiyuan is the capital of Shanxi Province nicknamed as the dragon city based on its long history—over 2,500. The application is required to be done online (i.e. laihua.csc.edu.cn), and the hard copies of the documents are required to be mailed to our university by April 10, 2016. You may mail us the documents at any time from now until April 10. (Refer to the address at the bottom of this email as the mailing address.) Our university agency number is 10112. If you have worked or studied in China before, please provide information about your stay here and the contact details of a person who can verify this.
Meanwhile TYUT scholarship and other self-supported programs are also available. Please log on at http://is.tyut.edu.cn for registration and application. You may apply all year round online for different programs.
