Dear International Students:

Since April 3, there have been positive cases in Taiyuan and Jinzhong, and the situation of epidemic prevention and control is grim. Our university's rapid and scientific response has built a safe defense line for us. We have confidence, determination and ability to win the battle against the epidemic. In order to strictly implement the prevention and control measures and ensure the safety of students, we hereby issue the following suggestions to all international students:

1. Correctlyanalyzethe situation and strengthen the determination of winning

Think rationally and improve the ability to distinguish right from wrong. Please be fully aware the severity and complexity of the current situation, and the importance and urgency of epidemic prevention and control. Get the latest news from official channels and believe in the power of science. Do not believe in rumors, do not spread rumors, and do not start rumors. For unverified information, do not forward it at will, and do not maliciously fabricate it, and actively promote positive energy. Believe in the Chinese government, believe in the university and unite as one, and jointly protect the stability of the campus and the safety of teachers and students.

2. Improve awareness of protection and practice prevention requirements

Strictly abide by the university's epidemic prevention and control regulations, strengthen personal protection and wear masks as required. Always maintain the social distance, and implement personal protection measures, such as washing hands regularly, ventilate frequently, and no gathering. Develop personal hygiene habits, live a healthy life and exercise regularly. Efficiently cooperate with all staff in nucleic acid testing as required; pay attention to changes in personal health codes, and actively cooperate with epidemic prevention and control work such as epidemic investigation and flow tracing. Stick to DingTalk report every day as required. If you have symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, chest tightness, fatigue, diarrhea, etc., please report to the counselor and head teacher in time, and seek medical treatment according to the university's emergency response measures.

3. Arrange study and rest reasonably and make study plans

All international students should keep their main duties in mind. During the epidemic, they should not waste time. Combine exertion and rest and maintain a good mental state; adhere to daily physical exercise, formulate reasonable schedules, and have a reasonable and healthy diet; Plan and enrich lock-down life and complete learning tasks with high quality and efficiency.

4.Strengthen responsibility and actively contribute

As a member of Taiyuan University of Technology, we must actively implement various epidemic prevention and control requirements and stand up at critical moments. Actively participate in the war against pandemic. International students are encouraged to join the volunteer team and participate in the university’s pandemic prevention and control work to be good "combatants", "propagandists", "security guards". Unite together, and we will overcome the difficulties together, and actively contribute our strength to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
